Sonnet G4/500 upgrade board is working here in an 4 yrs. young Yosemite. No trouble using Mac OS 9.xx and Jaguar X. Logic Audio and other audio aps that make use of the velocity engine do recognize the G4 immediately, so does the operating system. The whole upgrade action took about 3 minutes 46 seconds, including shutdown and boot time

Sonnet was the upgrade of my choice because there is nothing to tweak on the Sonnet boards, nor any software installations are necessary.

Thanx for writing Aljen. I'm glad to hear that the sonnet upgrade is good, as that is the one i have ordered.
And regarding Lübeck. Well a couple of hundred years ago it was Danish

According Sonnet, there is one string added:

Be very careful while removing the processor board from it's black foam socket it comes in. The foam is rather hard, and the "legs" sit in very firmly. So you may want to travel to Flensburg again & buy a crate of patience in order to unpack the upgrade correctly
