Was bedeutet die Fehlermeldung?

Hallo!

Ich hatte gestern eine Meldung, dass ein Fehler aufgetreten ist und ich den Rechner (IMac) am Einschaltknopf ausschalten soll. Das Fenster erschien, und man konnte nichts mehr machen...nur noch den Rechner hinten ausschalten.
Als er wieder hochfuhr, kam der 'Report an Apple'. Darin stand dann das hier (Achtung, lang):

da hat sich irgendwas ordentlich verschluckt und eine Kernel-panik ausgelöst.

wenn du noch weisst bei welcher Aktion genau das passiert ist kannst Du versuchen das zu reproduzieren und einen Bug ausfindig machen.

wenn das nicht häufiger vorkommt mach Dir keinen großen Sorgen.

Reparier mal die Zugriffsrechte auf deiner Systemdisk.

Eine Sache voraus: Ein Kernel Panic wird i.d.R. durch Hardware bzw. Treiber Probleme ausgelöst. Software wie z. B. Logic wird nicht die Ursache sein. Ich bin keineswegs Fachmann und kann nur vermuten, aber wenn ich hier mehrere Hinweise auf USB sehe:

Die Meldung kam, als meine Frau eine Mail verschicken wollte. Dabei hatte sie, glaube ich, auch Safari geöffnet, einen USB-Stick angeschlossen (auf welchem die zu verschickenden Dateien waren)... sonst war, meine ich, nichts weiter offen.

Und Plopp! war die Meldung da! Sonst kam so eine Art Meldung aber auch noch nie.

Ich habe vorher ein im Internet gesurft, hatte dabei Itunes geöffnet und Text-Edit geöffnet.
Aber das habe ich alles geschlossen, als meine Frau kam.

Also eigentlich war es nichts weltbewegendes, was wir gemacht haben....

Und äh, wie repariere ich die Rechte nochmal...? ;-)

Ach so, noch zum System:

Imac, 2,4 GHz Core-Duo, 4GB Ram, OS 10.6

Und diverse Sachen am USB-Hub....wie Controller MS-20, Novation-X-Station, Soundblaster-Karte, Emagic EMI 2/6, HP-Drucker (der war auch noch an), externe Festplatte, 2xMidi-USB...das war's...glaube ich....
Aber an war nur der Drucker....das EMI6/2, die Soundblaster-Karte sowie die USB-Midi-Kabel leuchten immer, sobald der Rechner an ist...

Festplattedienstprogramm öffnen Mac HD (systemplatte) auswählen und "Zugriffsrechte des Volumes reparieren" anklicken.

wenn das abgeschlossen ist am besten den Rechner mal neu starten.

Bei 4 GB Speicher lohnt sichs auch mal einen Memory-Monitor zu installieren und ab und zu auf die Speicherauslastung zu schauen.
Wenn der voll ist kann sich das System schon mal verschlucken.

Ich vermute eine kurze Leitungsunterbbrechung durch lose Stecker am Hub, zumindest, wenn der Stick dort eingesteckt wurde. Diese Ministecker- und Buchsen für Spannung und USB Summe an den meisten Geräten sind sehr anfällig. Wenn da dann grad noch Kommunikation mit mehreren Anschlüssen läuft, kann das schonmal eine Panik verursachen.
